New Mexico Tektite Goblet
Josh first created "Klingon Toasting Goblets" in the early 1990s as a commission for "Star Trek." These quirky vessels contained a classically graceful Simpson goblet cup encased in and held aloft by a gnarly Tektite pedestal. (You can read more about Tektite Glass here). This new goblet that Josh made in 2024 expresses the original concept: a delicately balanced marriage of fascinatingly coarse and simply elegant.
Goblet is 7.75β tall.
Signed βSimpsonβ and serialized 4.9.24

In 1993, the Corning Museum of Glass selected one of Josh's Tektite Goblets for inclusion in "New Glass Review;" this piece now resides in the museum's permanent collection.
