Vintage Collaborative Gabriele Küstner Saturn
This piece was first blown and shaped by Josh Simpson, then the clear glass disk was cold-worked by Gabriele Küstner, using abrasive and diamond wheels to sculpt the surface of the glass.
It is an extremely rare collaborative work between two artists who are masters in their field. The carved radiating rays on the lower surface of the clear glass are amazing!
